Fellowship programme

CHENNAI: The New India Foundation is inviting applications for its 2008 Fellowships programme. Fellows will be awarded a stipend of Rs. 50,000 per month for one year and will be required to write original books which would contribute to a better understanding of independent India.

Applicants must submit their book proposal, curriculum vitae and a writing sample of at least 5,000 words to the Managing Trustee, The New India Foundation, 22 A Brunton Road, Bangalore-560025, by post or courier before March 31, 2008. Further details are available at www.newindiafoundation. org.
