BP in final

NEW DELHI: Bharat Petroleum defeated Army XI 4-0 to enter the final of the fourth Oriental Bank Maharaja Ranjit Singh Hockey Tournament at the Shivaji Stadium here on Tuesday. Hari Prasad, Ravi Pal Singh, Gurpreet Singh and Amar Aiyamma were the scorers.

In the other semifinal, Indian Oil eliminated Air India (North) Indian Airlines 4-2. Hamza Mujtaba (2), Tyron Pereira and Deedar Singh scored for Indian Oil. The losing team reduced the margin through Sandeep Michael and Arjun Halappa.
