SSLC exams to be held in the afternoon
Staff Reporter
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In view of the security arrangements put in place for the storage of question papers, this year’s Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations will be held only in the afternoon, from 1.45 p.m. onwards, according to an official press release.
Unlike previous years, the SSLC question papers will be kept inside government treasuries or inside the lockers of nationalised banks. The question papers will be transported to the examination centres in special vehicles on the examination day. The security measures are being taken with a view to preventing leaking of question papers.
The timetable for the examinations will be as follows: Language-I (March 12); Language-II (March 13); English (March 15); Social Science (March 17); Hindi (March 18); Biology (March 19); Mathematics (March 24); Physics (March 25); Chemistry (March 26); and Information Technology (March 27).
The examinations begin throughout the State on March 12 and end on March 27.
