Sonepat: A case was registered against two eye surgeons for medical negligence here on Tuesday. LensThe case was registered against Dr Amit Bhatiya and Dr Ramesh Nerang for allegedly removing lens from the eyes of a six-year-old boy Milan on February 17, Senior Superintendent of Police Navdeep Singh Virk said. He said Deputy Superintendent of Police Badri Prasad would investigate the case and a panel of eye surgeons from POIMS Rohtak would conduct an inquiry into the complaint. Meanwhile, the district unit of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has alleged that both the surgeons were falsely implicated in the case and claimed that they were not guilty.- PTI
