Bhagalpur: An engineer with Classic Kol, an NTPC contracting company, was kidnapped for ransom while inspecting a project at Kahalgaon, police has said . Deepak Kumar Sah was kidnapped after Classic Kol refused to pay a huge unspecified extortion money demanded by Hansda gang, they said. Kidnappers on motorcycles near Lalmatia coal loading post took Mr. Sah away around 11 am, when he was inspecting the merry-go-round project for transporting coal to the NTPC power project, police said.
