Proof: Certificates of secondary grade teacher aspirants being verified at Teppakulam Bishop Heber Higher Secondary School in Tiruchi on Tuesday.

TIRUCHI: Certificate verification of secondary grade teacher aspirants in Government schools was undertaken at the Teppakulam Bishop Heber Higher Secondary School under the chairmanship of the Chief Educational Officer K. Swaminathan, on Tuesday.

Four teams headed by the District Elementary Educational Officer, District Educational Officers of Lalgudi and Tiruchi and Inspector of Matriculation Schools carried out the verification process.

On Wednesday, the teams would carry out the certificate verification process for teachers of aided schools intending to shift to government schools.

The teams would determine whether the candidates conform to the guidelines of the Directorate of Elementary Education.

The selected candidates chosen on grounds of priority and communal rotation would be given appointment orders on Thursday, said Mr. Swaminathan.
