School girls found dead in well

KANCHEEPURAM: Two girls were found dead in a well at Valathottam near here on Monday morning.

According to police, the 15-year-olds, Suganya and Yogalakshmi, left their homes on Sunday morning along with cowherd to nearby grazing fields. But, late in the evening, their parents received information that their cattle were wandering in the fields alone.

Meanwhile, some of the villagers found the dead bodies of the two girls in a well in the village itself on Monday morning and informed the police. The Kanchi taluk police have registered a case and are investigating.
