Man falls into farm well, dies

VILLUPURAM: C.Dinesh (25) of North Railway Colony here accidentally fell into a farm well at Then Per near Periya Thachur on Monday night and died.

When he was riding a two-wheeler, with his friend Vinodh on the pillion, Dinesh reportedly received a call on his cellphone. So, he parked the vehicle by the roadside to attend to the call. However, as the signal was weak he started walking into a farmland to get clarity. But in the darkness he failed to notice an unused farmwell and fell into it. Only with the help of the fire service personnel his body could be recovered.

The Periya Thachur police have registered a case.
