Man shot at in Patel Nagar

NEW DELHI: A 35-year-old man was shot at and grievously injured by two unidentified men in Patel Nagar here early on Tuesday morning.

According to the police, two young men posing as courier delivery boys reached Manoj Kumar’s rented accommodation around 6 a.m. When he opened the door, the duo handed over an envelope to him. Even as Manoj Kumar was opening the envelope, the men fired a shot at him and fled. Manoj was taken to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital where his condition was said to be stable. The victim works for a fabric company.

The police said prima facie it appeared to be a case of personal enmity.
