Bandh in Orissa hits train traffic

VIZIANAGARAM: Train traffic on the Howrah-Chennai track was severely crippled following bandh in Orissa on Wednesday.
The bandh was called over the injustice meted out to that State in the Railway Budget.
According to Railway sources here, No. 8463 Bhubaneswar- Bangalore Prasanthi Superfast Express delayed by about six hours and reached at 3.30 p.m. Similarly, 2847 Vascodagama, 7015 Visakha Express, 6324 Howrah-Trivandrum, 2835 Howrah-Chennai, 2510 Guwahati-Bangalore trains were running some 4/5 hours late. The East Coast Railway cancelled the 8411 Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam Intercity Express for the day.
