Workshop begins on entrepreneurial skills

Belgaum: The Visvesvaraya Technological University has been organising workshops to expose students of its affiliate colleges to entrepreneurial skills.

In a press release, Registrar of the university M.S. Shivakumar has said that some polytechnics in Belgaum city have come forward make use of the university’s Entrepreneurship Development Cell for organising workshops for diploma students.

A three-day workshop for students of Government Polytechnic began on Wednesday.

It is being coordinated by S.K. Venkata Ram, project officer of the university’s Entrepreneurship Development Cell.

The university will be conducting three camps during next month.

It will be held at Proudadevaraya Institute of Technology in Hospet from March 6 to 8, at Siridevi Institute of Engineering and Technology in Tumkur from March 20 to 22 and at Siddaganga Institute of Technology in Tumkur from March 29 to 31.
