Selected for Puzhangara award

Thrissur: K. Krishnakumar, staff correspondent of Mangalam daily, has been selected for the Puzhangara Balanarayanan Award. The award, instituted by the Puzhangara Balanarayanan Endowment Committee, carries a purse of Rs.2,000, citation and statuette. K. Narayana Kurup, Acting Chief Justice of the Madras High Court and chairman of the Wage Boards for Working Journalists and Non-Working Journalists, will present the award at a function at the Kerala Sahitya Akademi hall here in the first week of March. — Staff Reporter
