Joint-director suspended

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kollam municipal joint director C.M. Mohammed Sherief has been suspended from service for failing to comply with a government order posting him as Kozhikode corporation secretary. An official release issued here on Wednesday said that Mr. Sharief refused to comply with the directive to join duty and went on leave without permission. This was treated as an act of indiscipline and Local Administration Minister Paloli Mohammed Kutty suspended him from service.
