Rs. 6-crore proposal given to Government

Chittoor: A proposal for Rs. six crore had been sent to the government to sanction the developmental activities in Chittoor Municipality, said Sarala Marry, municipal chairperson at the general body meeting held here on Thursday.

She said that the amount would be spent on the development of streets, drains, drinking water sources and lighting. She requested the councillors to cooperate with the municipal authorities in spending the amount properly for the improvement of facilities for the people in the municipality.
