HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Government appointed the senior most IAS officer, A. Raghotham Rao, as the new Chief Secretary.

His appointment as the 29th Chief Secretary was announced after the Cabinet bade farewell to the present incumbent J. Hari Narayan on Thursday. The Chief Secretary thanked the Chief Minister.
