Sanjay, Manyata withdraw marriage declaration

PANAJI: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt and Dilnashin alias Manyata through a joint declaration on Wednesday withdrew their marriage declaration filed before the South Goa Sub Registrar on February 7.
The office of the Sub-Registrar of Salcete in south Goa confirmed on Thursday that the duo submitted a joint declaration through an advocate to revoke their earlier marriage declaration.
Controversy
Mr. Dutt’s marriage to Manyata, which generated a lot of controversy, ran into trouble after government authorities in Goa found on investigation that the proof of residence certificate produced by Manyata along with the marriage declaration was fabricated.
A legal notice was served on Manyata asking for an explanation.
