Kochi: A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court, on Monday, admitted appeals filed by the State government and the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) against a single judge’s verdict quashing the government decision to re-tender the contract for the construction of the Athirappilly project. The appeals were admitted by the Bench comprising Chief Justice H.L. Dattu and Justice K.M. Joseph. A single judge had held that there was lack of transparency in the action of the KSEB and the State government in opting for re-tender.
