Focus on role of women in politics

NEW DELHI: The Women’s Welfare and Child Development Committee of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has organised a symposium on “The role of women in politics: problems and solutions” at Town Hall here on Friday to mark International Women’s Day.

Speakers will include former Union Minister Sushma Swaraj and Members of Parliament Kiran Maheshwari and Krishna Tirath. Mayor Arti Mehra will preside.
