Vajpayee, Advani’s call to Nagaland voters

Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI: Six days ahead of polling for the Nagaland Assembly, scheduled on March 5, senior Bharatiya Janata Party leaders Atal Bihari Vajpayee and L.K. Advani have jointly appealed to the voters by recalling the efforts made by the National Democratic Alliance government towards bringing about permanent peace in the State.

They said they wanted to see the democratic process in the State strengthened as this was inextricably linked to peace and development.
