No station house officer

That city police stations lack basic amenities is known to everybody. But of late, some police stations are suffering from a peculiar problem -absence of station house officer. Nampally, S.R. Nagar, Begum Bazar, Chikkadpally, Afzalgunj, Bowenpally, Chilakalaguda, Tukaramgate, Humayunnagar are headless stations to name a few. With no Inspector to oversee crime prevention and detection work, people are clueless on whom to contact for redressal of their complaints. Interestingly, subordinates seem to be enjoying every moment of their work in such stations. It is rare that every cop in the police station becomes a boss in his or her own right. No wonder constables and SIs in these stations are having the last laugh!
