THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thiruvananthapuram Bar Association has termed the remark by Sebastian Paul, MP, against the setting up of a High Court Bench in the capital city as solely aimed at appeasing the vote bank. C.K. Sitaram, president of the Thiruvananthapuram Bar Assocaition, in a release said that the statement was parochial and ran against the resolution passed at the State-level convention of the Communist Party of India (Marxist). T. J. Chandrachoodan, secretary, Revolutionary Socialist Party, will visit the protesting lawyers at the venue of the indefinite satyagraha in front of the district court on Friday to express support for the cause.
