Gopalganj: Vijay Singh, cashier of a rural bank, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen near Bankari Pipra village under Sidhwalia police station in Bihar’s Gopalganj district on Thursday, Superintendent of Police Rakesh Rathi said. The gunmen fired at Mr. Singh when he was going to Pipra branch of the North Bihar Gramin Kshetriya Bank in the morning, killing him on the spot, Mr. Rathi said.
