Chamber hails Union Budget

ARANTHANGI: The Aranthangi Chamber of Commerce has hailed the budget proposals announced by the Union Minister for Finance P. Chidambaram on Friday.

The president of the Chamber, L. Kailasanathan, said that the budget proposals would benefit the salaried class following the upward revision in the ceiling for income-tax from Rs.1.10 lakh to Rs.1.50 lakh.

Due consideration has been accorded to women and senior citizens too, he said.
