Technical symposium at engineering college

KANCHEEPURAM: Students from more than 80 colleges participated in SMECXIAN-08, a national-level technical symposium, held at Sakthi Mariamman Engineering College at Thandalam on Friday.

Inaugurating the symposium, Karthik Radhakrishnan, Senior Project Manager, HCL Technologies, Chennai, called upon the students to come up with their own creative and innovative ideas.

K. N. Ramachandran, chairman, SMEC, commended the enthusiasm shown by the participants and asked them to think innovatively

Prizes and medals were distributed to the winners of various competitions held as part of the technical symposium, at the valedictory function held in the afternoon.
