Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: The controversy over the alleged harassment of a student at Sophia School came to an end on Friday after the parent of a fourth standard girl withdrew the complaint that he had lodged with the High Grounds Police.

K.N. Venkatesh, father of Sneha, on Thursday alleged that a teacher had harassed his daughter before the commencement of the English examination.

The police said Mr. Venkatesh was invited for a meeting with the school authorities and the matter was sorted out.
