BANGALORE: All-India Railway Licensed Porters’ Association thanked the Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad for promoting licensed porters in Railways as gangmen. The association general secretary P. Jettappa told presspersons here on Friday that the association would urge the Railway Minister to provide jobs, on humanitarian grounds to a family member of licensed porters who die in an accident. — Staff Reporter
