Blast cases: 26 held till now

HYDERABAD: Of the 98 suspects questioned so far, 26 were arrested in connection with the cases of Mecca Masjid explosion and the twin blasts in the city.

The remaining 72 suspects were let off after questioning, City Police Commissioner B. Prasada Rao said on Friday. Eight others were bound over before a Special Executive Magistrate.

Twenty-six illegal Bangladeshis were also arrested under the Passport and Foreigners Acts. Five others were arrested under the Explosive Substances Act.
