Chennai: SSN Engineering College beat SMIT by 10 wickets in the Dr. A.C. Muthiah Rolling Trophy cricket tournament here. In another match, Tagore Engineering defeated RMK Engineering College by 14 runs.

The scores: SMIT 63 in 16.5 overs lost to SSN EC 65 for no loss in 7.4 overs (S. Aravind 27, Praveen Srivatsan 33 n.o.); Tagore EC 118 for six in 20 overs (Naveen Chaitanya 42) bt RMK EC 103 for nine in 20 overs (Nathan four for 13).
