LONDON: Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung claims that the EPL champion is ready to go full throttle in a bid to snatch top spot from Arsenal ahead of its crucial head-to-head at Old Trafford on April 2. Sir Alex Ferguson’s team faces Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday, while Arsenal meets Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium. “Everybody in the squad is determined to get to the top of the league as quickly as possible,” South Korean midfielder Park said. “After last weekend, the gap is only three points. Remember we have to play Arsenal at Old Trafford in April, so that means we can take another three points off them. The league is close, so it’s possible we’ll end the season on the same points. Games like the one against Newcastle, where we scored five goals, can help.” — AFP
