‘Languages have to adapt’

Bangalore: Hindi and other Indian languages cannot remain mediums of culture and literature alone if they have to survive in the changing world, according Chhattisgarh Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan.

Speaking after inaugurating the third Hindi convention organised by the Mysore Hindi Prasar Parishad and the Akhila Karnataka Hindi Sahitya Academy here on Saturday, he said that they should also become languages through which one could learn science and technology and enter the job market. — Special Correspondent
