Chandigarh: Punjab National Bank on Saturday formally adopted a village here under Village Adoption Scheme of NABARD. “The bank will undertake different developmental activities of common interest besides organising awareness camps about the various schemes of bank and imparting of financial education to the rural people in Khuda Lahora village,” said R. D. Kailey, Senior Regional Manager, (Chandigarh Region), PNB. He said the bank would shortly issue Biometric Smart Card in Chandigarh.
