Ganja crop burnt

Sangareddy: According to the Excise superintendent K. Madhusudan Reddy ganja crop cultivated in 3 acres of land in the Beemra tanda of Kangti mandal was burnt by excise officers today. The market value of 5.26 lakh plants is said to be nearly Rs. 8 crore. The Narayankhed, Sangareddy, Zaheerabad and Jogipet Excise Circle Inspectors raided the village during the wee hours and cleared the crop. -Staff Reporter
