India Carpet Expo begins in the Capital

NEW DELHI: The Carpet Export Promotion Council is organising a four-day fair on hand-made carpets and floor coverings titled “India Carpet Expo” at Pragati Maidan here beginning Sunday.

Union Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath will inaugurate the expo.

Apart from the expo, two workshops on Indian hand-made carpet industry titled “Marketing and its future prospects” are also scheduled for March 3 and 4.
