ANANTAPUR: Tension prevailed in Tadipatri town in the district on Saturday for a couple of hours when a huge gathering of Muslim community staged a rasta-roko near Siddi Basha ‘dargah’ on the Kadapa-Bellary road, which bisects the town, demanding removal of the newly constructed road-divider near the historical place of worship. Local leaders and activists of Telugu Desam Party also participated in the protest.
