Lawyers to intensify stir

Thiruvananthapuram: The Thiruvananthapuram Bar Association has reiterated that it will continue its agitation till a High Court bench is established in the capital.

Education Minister M.A. Baby, G. Karthikeyan and V. Sivankutty, both MLAs, were among those who visited the striking lawyers on Saturday.

Association president C.K. Sitaram said the lawyers would intensify the agitation in the coming days.

Vehicle rally campaigns would be held in the district on March 6 and 7. About 150 lawyers are taking part in the Parliament march on March 7, along with Varkala Radhakrishnan and Pannian Ravindran, MPs. — Staff Reporter
