PHC sought at Kalmandapam

PUDUCHERRY: The National Federation of Indian Women (NFIW) has urged the government to establish a Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Kalmandapam near here.

According to a release, the federation said that the government should take appropriate measures to start a PHC at the village as there was no access to any medical facility, especially during emergency and night hours. Women, children and elders had to travel far for medical help.
