15,777 students to sit for Plus Two examinations
VIRUDHUNAGAR: A total of 15,777 students will be appearing for the Plus Two public examinations that begin today. Among them are 7,557 boys and 8,220 girls who would write the examinations at 57 centres. The question papers have been kept under heavy police protection at seven places, the Collector, V. Chandrasekaran, said in a statement.
Special flying squads have been formed to check students from indulging in malpractices. Besides, the Collector, the Superintendent of Police, District Revenue Officer and Revenue Divisional Officers would conduct surprise checks.
Outsiders would not be allowed into the examination centres. All students would be allowed to come out of the halls only after the stipulated examination time. Drinking water facility would be provided at the centres.
