BANGALORE: All-India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Rahul Gandhi will visit Karnataka for five days in the last week of the month, according to secretary of the Youth Congress Jeetendra Singh. Addressing presspersons here on Sunday along with the All-India Youth Congress president Ashok Tanwal, he said that Mr. Gandhi would tour the State to know the problems of the youth, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas. During his visit, Mr. Gandhi would interact with groups of youth from some districts. Mr. Singh said that several burning issues concerning youth and students would be discussed during his visit. Mr. Gandhi would also try to identify promising youth who could help the party to grow further. Answering questions, Mr. Tanwal said the Youth Congress had coined a theme for attracting youth in large numbers to the Congress.
