VHP agitation plan

BHUBANESWAR: The Viswa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Monday unveiled its agitation plan in protest against the affidavit filed by Ministry of Shipping with regards Sethusamudram Project.

Addressing a press conference here on Monday, VHP’s International general secretary Prabin Bhai Togadia said the UPA government hurt sentiments of millions of Hindus by filing the affidavit.

There should have been a public hearing by Ministry of Culture since it was an issue of religious belief, Mr. Togadia said. The agitation would be staged at different corners of the country, he said.
