PUDUCHERRY: The Pondicherry State Unified Ministerial Staff Action Committee has decided to go on strike from March 10 to protest the delay in filling up of posts. According to a press release, the committee said the ministerial cadre comprising the posts of assistant, superintendent, junior accounts officer and senior accounts officer were lying vacant for nearly two years. Around 500 posts have not been filled till now. The Department of Administrative Reforms had not taken any efforts to fill up these posts, the committee pointed out. The committee would also organise gate meetings in various departments from March 4. — Staff Reporter
