Talks held with Russian team

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan discussed steps for reducing traffic snarls in Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode with a Russian delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Russian Railways here on Monday.

The delegation suggested light metros and tramways. The question of setting up thermal plants for running them was also discussed.
