CBI files status report in High Court

NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation on Monday informed the Delhi High Court that it would complete investigation into the multi-core co-operative group housing society scam here by May.

Filing a status report on the progress of investigations, counsel for the CBI submitted that it had so far filed charge-sheets in 30 cases out of the 90 FIRs lodged. Charge-sheets had been sent to the competent authority for sanction in 28 of the remaining cases while the others were still being probed.
