Book on Gujarat elections released

BANGALORE: A book on Gujarat Election Survey 2007 in Kannada, titled “Hege Kanditho Gujarat Chunavane 2007” was released today.

The book was authored jointly by former station director of Doordarshan S.K. Sheshachandrika and journalist Kiran Vati.

Speaking on the occasion, Resident editor of the “The Week” magazine in New Delhi, K.S. Sachidananda Murthy said, in all respects, the Gujarat election had been a “watershed election” where the rule of law, regional balances and constitutional observance had come to play their respective roles. — Special Correspondent
