Selected for NCC team

GUNTUR: A National Cadet Corps girl cadet from Government Junior College (Girls) has been selected for Andhra Pradesh NCC team that would vie for a place in the Youth Exchange Programme of the Girls Command that would visit London and Singapore as part of the programme.
Nandipati Swetha, who was selected in the Andhra Pradesh delegation for the Republic Day Parade at New Delhi successfully completed the assignment. has been short-listed along with 13 others to be tested for final selections from among 120 cadets all over the country.
It was a rare distinction for a girl from Guntur to go so far, said College Principal KMM Prema. Daughter of a Government employee N. Sadasiva Rao. in Guntur, Ms. Swetha is pursuing her Inter Second Year (Bi.P.C).
