“Freedom”, the all-African colour film, which last week had its Asian premiere in New Delhi, has just been presented five times in Little Rock, Arkansas, scene of racial tension in the Southern States of America. Members of the State Legislature, the City Council and the School Board students of the Central High School and members of the U.S. Armed Forces assigned to keep order in the school, sat transfixed as black and white Africans together spoke to introduce the film.
