Rural Electrification Corp. gers new CMD

NEW DELHI: P. Uma Shankar has taken over charge as Chairman and Managing Director of Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) with effect from March 1. Prior to joining REC, he was Managing Director of National Cooperatives Development Corporation, New Delhi, says a release.
