CPI(M) demands regularisation

Several poor people under the aegis of the CPI (M) city unit on Monday laid siege to the office of urban tahsildar at Gandhinagar demanding regularisation of occupied government lands and changes to GO 166 released in respect of house sites at Ranigarithota. CPI (M) city secretary R. Raghu said that the GO had no clarity. The party leaders criticised the Congress for failing to live up to its pre-election promises.
