Quite a surprise: Tennis stars Isha Lakhani, Anne Bremer, Anastaias Rodinova and Tzipora Obziler interacting with children of the Dream a Dream Foundation in Bangalore on Monday. BANGALORE: It was fun time in the park for 20-odd children of Dream a Dream Foundation, who had gathered at the KSLTA practice courts in the Cubbon Park on Monday to interact with some of the stars of the Bangalore Open Championship. The foundation, which runs a non-residential educational and personality building programme for underprivileged children, does this kind of programme whenever major tennis events are held in the KSLTA. Four players — India’s Isha Lakhani, Anne Bremer of Luxembourg, Anastaias Rodinova of Russia and Tzipora Obziler of Israel — distributed kits and goodies and later urged the kids to love sports and excel in whatever they wished to do in life. C.S. Sunder Raju, secretary of KSLTA, said: “We always try to make our event not just a sports extravaganza, but also something which is meaningful and socially relevant and I thank the players for spending time with the children.”
