MCC in final

Chennai: MCC ‘A’ and Gandhinagar ‘A’ will clash in the final of the UCAL-TNTA women’s tennis league here after topping Zones ‘A’ and ‘B’ respectively.

MCC ‘A’ is represented by Rushmi Chakravarthi and Nandita Krishnan, while Sai Jayalakshmi and Preethi Rao play for Gandhinagar ‘A’.

The results: Zone A: MCC ‘A’ w/o Gandhinagar ‘B’ (Mrs. Jayaraman & Shahin Ansari); MCC ‘A’ bt Besant Nagar ‘A’ (S. Preethi & Marutha Devi) 6-0, 6-1.

Zone B: Gandhinagar ‘A’ bt Besant Nagar ‘B’ (Sanjana Saraswati & Leela Senthilnathan) 6-0, 6-0; Gandhinagar ‘A’ w/o MCC ‘B’ (Gayathri Krishnan & Shree Vidya).
