Testing time for box office

Most of the recent releases have not fared well in the box office.

The reason – exam fever is on. Usually children coax or even bully parents into bringing them to the cinema. But March is an exception. Textbooks top the priority list, films take a backseat.

Sensing this mood, the industry too is playing safe. Many films are slated for release after the examinations.

Come April, and the counters should sport ‘house full’ boards again.
